April Swing Specialty Workshops with Special Guest Teachers

For the month of April, we are once again hosting 

Swing Speciality Workshops with some of the best 

swing dance teachers/competitors on the West Coast. 

60-MIN SPECIALTY WORKSHOPS -- Wed. Apr. 3, 10, 17, 24

All workshops will be held at Queen Bee's from 8:30-9:30p. 

 

4/3: JAZZ UP YOUR LINDY HOP with Josh & Emily McLaughlin

Spice up your social dancing by integrating fun jazz steps into your Lindy Hop!

4/10: SWING IT IN THE POCKET with Nate & Tertia Sartain

Take some basic swing moves and vary them to better phrase different songs!

4/17: SWINGOUT WITH STYLE with Conrad Friesen & Alice Pye

Add some funky footwork/styling variations to make your swingouts your own!

4/24: AFRICAN ROOTS OF SWING with Meeshi Ravi

Trace the African Roots of Swing Dance from the Slave Trade to the Harlem Renaissance!
